The call for papers for the 8th ASP 2024 International Congress is open until 15 May. The submission format for the evaluation and publication of the paper is the extended abstract. To submit a proposal it is necessary to use the template that can be downloaded below:
In order to publish the congress proceedings, the template must conform to the rules which can be found in English and Spanish below:
DIRECTRICES PARA AUTORES (ESP)
Oral communications will only be accepted for one of the three provisional sessions and are subject to change:
- Session I: Palaeolithic art
- Session II: Post-Palaeolithic art
- Session III: Conservation, dissemination and new methodologies
If accepted, the proposed paper must be presented in person and orally in a 10-minute presentation in one of the three official languages of the conference (presentation time may be subject to change).
SENDING
Papers should be sent to the following e-mail address: asp2024@usal.es. The surname and first name of the first author must be included in the subject of the email in the following format: Surname1_Surname2_Name_Abstract.
For example: Gordon_Childe_Vere_Abstract
If several papers are to be submitted, the submission number must be included: Surname1_Surname2_Name_Abstract1.

A folder with the same name as the subject of the email (Surname1_Surname2_Name_Abstract) must be sent, zipped with the following files:
- The completed extended abstract template in .docx format with the same name as the subject of the email and the folder (Surname1_Surname2_Name_Abstract).
- A folder with the figures with the required quality (see section figures and tables of the guide for authors) named in order (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, etc.). The name of the folder must be as follows: Surname1_Surname2_NameFigures. Moreover, a document with permission to reproduce those figures for which you do not hold the copyright must be included.

The Organising Committee will inform authors of the results of the evaluation process during the months of the call for papers, until 15 July at the latest.
